The Joint Essex County A.A. and Eastern Counties A.A. is being held on Saturday and Sunday 1st/2nd March 2025 at Lee Valley Athletics Centre.

Essex and Eastern Indoor Track and Field Championships 2025

The Essex and Eastern Indoor Championships take place on the 2nd and 3rd March at Lee Valley. Entries for the event are open on Roster - https://meets.rosterathletics.com/.../details/about... and close on 17th February. Please encourage your athletes to enter!

Finally - the championships are run entirely by volunteers and we need every club to support with this. Please check with your officials and see if they are able to support in any capacity over the two days. We also need general volunteers to help with registration and other such tasks. All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of your entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. Please also be advised that only 6mm Christmas Tree spikes (or 5mm ceramic spikes where Christmas tree spikes are unavailable) can be used at the Lee Valley track. Any competitor attempting to use different spikes will not be allowed to compete. Spikes will be checked at the call room. Starting blocks may be used in heats and finals by under 20 and senior athletes and by under 17, under 15 and under 13 athletes in finals only. If you wish to enter to this event but are experiencing financial difficulties that prevent you from doing so, please contact us to discuss. However, please be advised that the final schedule of events will only be available after the closing date when we are able to assign entrants to heats.
