Running Events in Essex

On a trail course far, far away (on the Essex coastline actually) rebel forces come together to fight against the rise of the 6hr challenge, to find a new hope of the fixed distance races. The first race in our weekend double event, come back 2 days later on BH Monday for Revenge of the Sixth.

We are hosting three race distances on the same day, with a schedule comprising of a trail Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultramarathon, all at our Brightlingsea venue. May the Force be with you, as you decide which distance to choose.

ROUTE

This undulating, traffic free, looped trail course, will give you the opportunity to run the distance of your choice. Each loop will be 10.54km/6.55mi in distance and so you will need to complete 2 laps for a half marathon, 4 laps to cover full marathon distance, and then if you choose the Ultra distance, a fifth lap will give you a total distance of nearly 33 miles.
