Running Events in Essex

The Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity 15th Annual Santa Fun Run is a 3k or 5k route taking place in Castle Park Colchester.  Around 600 people are expected to take part.

No previous experience is required and with a little bit of training both the 3k or 5k distances should easily be within your capabilities.  The spirit of the event is taking part not winning, so you can run, jog or walk - you decide!

We are asking everyone to make the most of this opportunity to raise as much as possible. It’s entirely up to you which ward, department or appeal you would like to support. Choose the one that means the most to you.

Entry fees

Adults: £10.00 + free Santa suit (fits 16+yrs)
Children: £7.50 + free Santa suit (fits 5-15yrs)
Teams of 10: £75.00 + free Santa suits (£7.50 for each additional team member)
Under 5s free

Fundraising target

Adults: £50.00 each
Children: as much as they can!
