The Great Baddow Charity Race is now in its 35th year, and since it was first run the event has become a firm favourite in the sporting calendar of Chelmsford, and particularly Great Baddow.
The 35th Edmund Carr Great Baddow Charity Races are run through urban Great Baddow and Galleywood, and rural West Hanningfield.
For the last 20 years the event has been organised by the Rotary Club of Chelmsford Mildmay, after the Club was asked for help in organising the Races by the instigator of the Races who had been organising the event on his own. As a means of service in the community, and as a way of raising funds for local charities, the Rotary Club was delighted to be able to assist.
