Havering Ac's senior men's dominance of the county scene carried on with another great result in the Essex Road Relays at Harwich. Although missing some of their top runners, the team rounded off an amazing season with their first road relay win for many years. The team of Paul Grange-16.28, Jamie Buckley-Stanton -16.14, James Stewart – 16.47, and Rob Warner -16.01, took control from the second leg, winning the race by an impressive two and a half minutes. Warner also took the gold medal for the fastest leg of the day.

 
 
Not only did the senior team claim the gold but the team of Steve Rand-17.00, Martin Chester-17.36, and Jason Lendon-17.15 took the silver in the Vet 40 category. Not to be outdone by their younger contemporaries the V50 team of Gary Atkins-18.32, Paul Berrett- 19.53, and Matt Bland-17.00 claimed the bronze in their race.

The men had another three teams in the open race, the B team of Barry Smith, Gavin Watts, Ian Anthony and John Whitehead finished 6th, with the C team of Freddy Keefe, Gavin Maley, Lewis Debenham, and Steve Walker taking 12th.
